DAY 02Museum & pyramids
The Grand Egyptian Museum, Giza and the Sphinx.
DAY 03Saqqara & old Cairo
Ancient tombs and Islamic Cairo.
DAY 04Luxor & embarkation
Fly to Luxor; visit Karnak and Luxor Temple before boarding.
DAY 05The royal tombs
Valley of the Kings and Hatshepsut, followed by sailing.
DAY 06Edfu & Kom Ombo
Temple visits and the Crocodile Museum.
DAY 07Abu Simbel
Return to the cruise after exploring the temples, with a felucca sail near Aswan.
DAY 08Philae & a change of pace
Disembark, visit Philae and settle into an Aswan hotel.
DAY 09The islands of Aswan
Kitchener Island, the cataract and Nubian culture on Elephantine.
DAY 10To the Mediterranean
Fly to Cairo and continue by road to Alexandria.
